Introduction to SCADA system
SCADA(Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) system. SCADA system is based on computer DCS and power automatic monitoring system. It is widely used in many fields, such as electric power, metallurgy, petroleum, chemical industry, gas, railway and so on.
In the power system, SCADA system is more widely used and more mature technology. It played important roles in the telecontrol system, can run to the scene of the equipment monitor and control, in order to realize data acquisition, equipment control, measurement, parameter adjustment and all kinds of signal alarm functions, known as the "four control" function. RTU (remote terminal unit), FTU (feeder terminal units) is an important part of it. It plays an important role in the integrated automation construction of substation nowadays.
